We love basketball season! The folks at Carytown Burgers & Fries are big time supporters of VCU basketball – as you have no doubt noticed if you’ve grabbed one of our delicious burgers at half-time in the Commonwealth Club room! We want in on the fun… so, in a tribute to the upcoming 2018 NCAA Tournament, we’ve got a little tournament of our own planned. Announcing: Burgertology 2018!
WELCOME TO BURGERTOLOGY!
The concept is simple: our master burger artists have designed 8 new burgers. You vote on which burger sounds the best to you, and the winner of each matchup moves on to the next round… until the championship round.
There will be one winner… and the Burgertology 2018 champion will become The VCU Burger, our newest menu item!
The Elite Eight
East Bracket
- Burger 1: A Burger topped with Fries, Melted Cheddar Cheese Sauce, Ketchup, Mustard, Onions & Pickles
- Burger 8: A Burger topped with Fried Pickles, Pimento Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & BBQ sauce
South Bracket
- Burger 4: A Burger topped with Chili, Cheddar cheese, Mustard & Slaw
- Burger 5: A Burger topped with American cheese, Grilled Onions, Pickles, Bacon & BBQ sauce
West Bracket
- Burger 2: A Burger topped with The Works, Chili, Cheddar & Onion Rings
- Burger 7: A Chicken Tender Sandwich topped with Marinara, Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo & Oregano
North Bracket
- Burger 3: A Burger topped with Bleu cheese, Lettuce, Ranch & Buffalo Sauce
- Burger 6: A Burger topped with American cheese, Fried Onion Straws, Lettuce, Tomato & our House Special Sauce
