At Carytown Burgers and Fries, we believe that everyone should be able to eat one of our delicious, #BestInTown burgers without an ounce of guilt. That’s why, for years, we’ve offered beef and meat alternatives that you could sub in to your dietary specifications. However, recent innovations in the industry have taken things to an all new level!
Last year, we introduced the folks of Richmond to the Impossible Burger – a burger made from plants that tastes and “bleeds” just like beef. It was a hit, but with room for improvement. Never satisfied, we pressed hard, and a few months ago, we were able to get the Impossible Burger 2.0 on our grills… and it’s been flying off the flat top ever since!
Now, we’re happy to add another meat alternative to our options – one that’s been generating a lot of buzz: The Beyond Burger!
Like the Impossible Burger 2.0, the Beyond Burger tastes just like a great beef burger – though it may be a little better for those with allergies! The Beyond Burger contains 20g of protein, and has no soy, gluten, or cholesterol. It also has half the fat of a beef burger. It’s really something you’ll need to try for yourself, but we find ourselves coming back again and again when we’re interested in switching things up.

Like the Impossible Burger, the Beyond Burger is a fantastic alternative to meat – and one that we think you’ll love. We’ve actually had folks that simply prefer these two burgers over a regular beef patty.
